WHO IS ANSA ?


ANSA is a professional non-profit association under Swiss law with members in over a dozen countries. It was already founded in 1967 and consists of experienced experts in the air navigation (ATM / ATS) field, who offer their services to airport and airline companies, aviation organizations, ATM / ATS providers, research & development institutions and the industry in their effort to help improve safe flight and ATS system operation to ICAO, EU and EUROCONTROL standards.


The primary characteristics of these professionals, who will ensure outstanding performance, are


the ability to perform necessary analyses at all levels, being able to draw upon the

extensive experience gained during their up to 50 years long careers;


the ability to work in multi-national teams and speak Aeronautical English; and


the familiarity with other individuals’ mentalities and peculiarities after more than a

quarter century of contacts and cooperation.


ANSA is in a unique position to apply its expertise independent of the industry and political influence. Improved indoctrination and safety training of air traffic services personnel and enhancement of ATS operating procedures are the foremost objective, which is being supported in elaborating ATS regulations and procedures operations manuals for national air navigation services providers.


ANSA’s expertise encompasses the handling and presentation of aeronautical information, ATS and pilot training in theory and practice, the planning and operation of ATC systems, provision of ATC services, project control & coordination, ATC related incident investigation, assessment of national ATS regulations on their conformity with international standards, the elaboration of ATS operations manuals and operating procedures, letters of agreement, ATS tender and procurement assistance and SES certification support.


ANSA is guided by its corporate philosophy, which has developed over the years in multi-national projects through the experience of performing studies, writing operational and technical specifications, setting-up and evaluating proposals and conducting training programs, consisting of its commitments to quality, integrity, high productivity, cross training and experience in the aviation profession.
